Welcome to the Horowhenua Representative pages, hosted in conjunction with Kapiti Hockey. We will provide you with all the information on the up coming Representative season as it becomes available.
First things first - its nomination time, if you believe you or your child should be representing the region in either the U13 or U11 competition just complete the form below and we will go from there.
Before submitting your child, please beware that there are several things you should consider
1st - the amount of time and energy you will need to commit. They will have several quads and also practices over and above their standard hockey.
2nd - to be fair to the players and avoid embarrassement at the trials, they need to technically good. They should be one of the better players in their team and or grade.
Please DO NOT send them to the trials for practice.

Trial dates
HHA hockey Trials - held at Donnelly park - Levin hockey turf: U13 Boys – Trial 1 - 14th June arrive 11am-1pm on turf 11:30am (staying the same) Trial 2 - still the 21st June arrive 11am-1pm on turf 11:30am (no longer 2:30pm - 4:00pm) U11 Boys – Trial 1 - 14th June 1:00pm - 3:00pm (staying the same) Trial 2 – still the 21st June from 2:00pm - 4:00pm (no longer 11:30am - 1:30pm) U11 Girls – Nominations Close on the 18th of June 21st June 9:30am - 11:30am & 28th June 2:00pm - 4:00pm U13 Girls – 7th June 1:00pm-3:00pm & 14th June 9:30am - 11:30am Ribbons Most teams have been distributed trialists ribbons, so that the selectors can identify players who are trialing when they are playing in their school teams. U11’s should have crimson ribbon pinned to their back and u13 should have white.
